Pakistan enter the international fashion Show

Pakistan enters the international fashion world by launching its first fashion week in October 2008. Pakistan Fashion Week will be presented by its international consultant IMG, producers of New York Fashion Week and Los Angeles Fashion Week, and the country’s leading television channel, ARY Digital Network.

The four-day event will feature 16 shows, exhibition stalls, and business seminars. Thirty designers, 25 from Pakistan and 5 from India, will showcase their ready-to-wear and bridal collection. Participation of Indian designers will present their creations to new markets and is likely to increase demand for their products in Pakistan.

The development of the country's fashion supply chain is hoped to provide new opportunities for Pakistan's fashion industry and employment for a large number of youth.
